Statute Text
Salaries and bonds of employees. (1) The Director of Agriculture shall execute bonds to the State of Oregon in the penal sum of $20,000, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of director. (2) Subject to any applicable provisions of the State Personnel Relations Law, the chiefs of divisions and other employees of the State Department of Agriculture shall receive such salaries and wages as the director determines. (3) The chiefs of divisions and other employees of the department designated by the director shall execute bonds to the state, conditioned upon the faithful performance of their duties, in such amounts as the director determines.
