Statute Text
Service and user charges.
(1) For the purpose of paying the costs of operation and maintenance of
district works constructed under this chapter, the district board may by
ordinance:
(a) Impose and
collect service charges on the owners or occupants of property served by the
works of the district.
(b) Impose and
collect user charges, fees and tolls for use of works, facilities and services
of the district.
(2) Service or
user charges shall be based on the cost of operation, maintenance and
administration of the works, facilities or service. [1969 c.606 §45; 1991 c.459
