Organizational meeting; oath; officers; meetings. (1) As soon as possible after an election of directors, the directors shall meet for the purpose of qualifying all persons elected as directors and for the purpose of electing officers of the district. Each director shall qualify by subscribing to an oath of office. (2) The directors shall elect from their number a chairperson and vice chairperson and shall appoint a secretary-treasurer. The officers shall have the authority and duties given to them by the board. (3) The board shall hold meetings as may be necessary or convenient. [1969 c.606 §19; 1971 c.403 §11; 1987 c.185 §3]
