Statute Text
Governors authority to declare drought.
Upon finding that a need exists for statewide
coordination of water resource conservation measures by municipal and other
political subdivisions of this state in order to minimize problems caused by a
severe shortage of water, the Governor may declare that a severe, continuing
drought exists or is likely to exist. [1989 c.87 §2]
