Statute Text

Leasing lands acquired. Except as limited in this section but subject to separate sale of forest products under ORS 530.059, lands acquired under ORS 530.010 to 530.040 may be leased by the State Forester to any person when approved by the State Board of Forestry and for purposes deemed by the board to be more in the public interest than the purposes for which the land was acquired. [1965 c.128 §3]
