Oregon
State University research and experimentation programs.
To aid in the economic development
of the State of Oregon, Oregon State University shall institute and carry on
research and experimentation to develop the maximum yield from the forestlands
of Oregon, to obtain the fullest utilization of the forest resource, and to
study air and water pollution as it relates to the forest products industries. [1961
