Statute Text
Attorney General to conduct proceedings.
After request of the State Board of Forestry pursuant
to ORS 35.235 (1), the Attorney General shall commence and prosecute, in any
court of competent jurisdiction in the name of the State of Oregon, the
necessary or appropriate suit, action or proceeding for condemnation of the
amount of or interest in the property required for such purposes, and for the
assessment of the damages for the taking thereof. [1959 c.287 §12; 1983 c.740 §208]
