Forest Trust Land Advisory Committee; membership; advisory function. (1) A Forest Trust Land Advisory Committee is established to be composed of the board of directors of the Council of Forest Trust Land Counties. (2) Members may receive reimbursement for actual and reasonable traveling and other expenses necessarily incurred in performing official duties. This reimbursement shall not be deemed lucrative. (3) The committee shall advise the State Board of Forestry and the State Forester on the management of lands subject to the provisions of ORS 530.010 to 530.170 and on other matters in which counties may have a responsibility pertaining to forestland. The board and the State Forester shall consult with the committee with regard to such matters. [Formerly 527.735; 1997 c.120 §1]
