Statute Text
Setoff
of judgments in different amounts; disallowance of setoff.
If there is any difference in the
amount of the two judgments, judgment for the difference must be given in favor
of the party owning the larger judgment. If the justice refuses to allow the
setoff, the justice shall so certify on the transcript and return it to the
party.
