Filing
transcript of judgment in another county; issuance of execution.
The party entitled to the benefit
of a judgment in a justice court may at any time have a certified transcript of
the judgment and file it with any justice in any other county. Upon the filing
of the transcript, the justice with whom it is filed must make an entry thereof
in the docket of the justice, giving the title of the cause, the names of the
parties and the substance of the judgment. Thereafter execution may issue to
enforce the judgment, or any part thereof remaining unsatisfied, as if it had been
given by the justice with whom the transcript is filed.
