Statute Text
Technical review team. (1) A technical review team shall be composed of representatives from the State Department of Geology and Mineral Industries and each permitting agency and cooperating agency. The technical review team shall: (a) Establish methodology guidelines to be followed in the collection of baseline data; (b) Coordinate with the applicant the use of baseline data collection methodologies as approved by the permitting and cooperating agencies; and (c) Determine whether the mining operation as proposed in the consolidated application complies with ORS 517.956 and any other applicable requirements for a permit listed under ORS 517.971. (2) Each permitting agency and cooperating agency shall designate an appropriate staff member to serve on the technical review team. [1991 c.735 §11; 2013 c.371 §15]
