Statute Text
Coho
and chinook salmon hatchery on Oregon coast.
(1) The State Fish and Wildlife Commission shall
cause to be commenced and shall supervise the construction of a fish hatchery
on the Oregon coast for the purpose of rearing coho and chinook salmon. The
location for the site of the hatchery shall be at the discretion of the
commission. Selection of the site shall be based upon the most recent research
data available to the commission.
(2) The hatchery
constructed pursuant to subsection (1) of this section shall be maintained and
operated by the commission. [1967 c.360 §§1,4]
