Statute Text
Resident
and nonresident defined.
Except as provided in ORS 497.006, as used in this chapter:
(1)(a) Resident
means a person who has physically resided in this state for not less than six
consecutive months immediately prior to the date of making application for a
license, tag or permit issued by the State Fish and Wildlife Commission.
(b) Resident
does not include a person:
(A) Who merely
owns real property or pays property taxes in this state; or
(B) Who claims
resident privileges in another state or country for any purpose.
(2) Nonresident
