Meetings of committee; committee administrator and staff. (1) Regular meetings of the Emergency Fire Cost Committee shall be held quarterly. (2) Special meetings of the committee may be called by its chairperson or by a majority of the voting members. (3) The act or decision of a majority of the voting members shall be deemed the act or decision of the committee. (4) A staff member of the State Forestry Department shall be designated by the State Forester to serve as administrator for the committee. (5) The committee may employ staff members, in coordination with the State Forester. [Formerly 527.296; 1987 c.919 §21; 1991 c.639 §9; 2025 c.581 §22]
