Statute Text
Ratification of Northwest Wildland Fire Protection Agreement.
(1) The Legislative Assembly of
the State of Oregon hereby ratifies the Northwest Wildland Fire Protection
Agreement set forth in ORS 477.200, and the provisions of such agreement hereby
are declared to be the law of this state upon such agreement becoming effective
as provided in subsection (2) of this section.
(2) This
agreement shall become effective when it has been ratified by one or more of
the states eligible to be parties to this agreement and has been consented to
by the Congress of the United States as required by section 10, Article I of
the Constitution of the United States. [1999 c.258 §1]
