Statute Text
Throwing away of lighted matches, cigarettes and other materials prohibited;
posting copy of section in public conveyances.
No one shall, at any time, throw
away any lighted tobacco, cigars, cigarettes, matches or other lighted
material, on any forestland, private road, public highway or railroad right of
way within this state. Everyone operating a public conveyance shall post a copy
of this section in a conspicuous place within the smoking compartments of such
conveyance. [Formerly 477.164]
