Statute Text
Standard thread hose couplings and hydrant fittings required.
All equipment for fire protection
purposes purchased by state and municipal authorities, or any other authorities
having charge of public property, shall be equipped with the standard thread
for fire hose couplings and hydrant fittings as adopted by the State Fire
Marshal under ORS 476.030. Prior to adopting any such standard, the State Fire
Marshal may request from the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training
consideration of and recommendations regarding the standard. [Amended by 1963
