Statute Text
Lien on place used to unlawfully handle liquor. If it is proved that the owner of any building or premises knowingly has suffered the same to be used or occupied for the manufacture, sale or possession of alcoholic beverages, contrary to the provisions of the Liquor Control Act, such building or premises are subject to a lien for, and may be sold to pay all fines and costs assessed against their occupants for any violation of that statute. The lien shall be enforced immediately by civil action in any court having jurisdiction, by the district attorney of the county wherein the building or premises are located.
