Confidentiality of information submitted under ORS 469.080. (1) Information furnished under ORS 469.080 shall be confidential and maintained as such, if so requested by the person providing the information, if the information meets one of the following requirements: (a) The information is proprietary in nature; or (b) The information consists of geological and geophysical information and data, including maps, concerning oil, gas or geothermal resource wells. (2) Nothing in this section prohibits the use of confidential information to prepare statistics or other general data for publication, so presented as to prevent identification of particular persons.
