Statute Text
Actions or proceedings to enforce compliance. Whenever it appears to the Department of Environmental Quality that any person is engaged or about to engage in any acts or practices which constitute a violation of ORS 466.005 to 466.385 and 466.992 or the rules and orders adopted thereunder or of the terms of the permit, without prior administrative hearing, the department may institute actions or proceedings for legal or equitable remedies to enforce compliance therewith or to restrain further violations thereof.
