Statute Text
Rules
for transportation of hazardous waste.
In adopting rules governing transportation of any hazardous wastes for which a
permit is required, the Department of Transportation or the State Department of
Agriculture must consult with and consider the recommendations of the
Department of Environmental Quality prior to the adoption of any such rules.
Transporters shall be required to deliver hazardous wastes to a site named in
the manifest provided for in ORS 466.005 to 466.385, 466.990 (1) and (2) and
466.992, or to an alternative site approved by the department. [Formerly
