Requirements for continued procurement of contract building officials
services.
(1) A
city that intends to continue to procure services from a contract building
official shall, on or after January 1, 2022:
(a) Comply with
ORS 455.202; and
(b) Submit an
updated operating plan to the Director of the Department of Consumer and
Business Services that outlines the citys plan for compliance with ORS
455.202.
(2) A city that
does not comply with ORS 455.202 or does not submit an updated operating plan
as provided in subsection (1)(b) of this section may not procure services from
a contract building official unless the citys procurement occurs for the
periods and under the circumstances described in ORS 455.202 (2)(a)(A) and (B).
