Purpose of ORS 453.726 to 453.734.
It is the purpose of ORS 453.726 to 453.734 to regulate tanning facilities to
minimize the risks associated with suntanning with artificial ultraviolet
light. These risks include, but may not be limited to:
(1) Sunburn;
(2) Premature
aging of the skin;
(3) Skin cancer;
(4) Retinal
damage;
(5) Formation of
cataracts;
(6) Suppression
of the immune system; and
(7) Damage to the
