Statute Text
Election result; certification. The governing body of each affected entity shall meet separately not later than the fifth day after receiving from the county clerk the abstract of the votes cast in the election on consolidation. At the meeting, the governing body of the entity shall determine the result of the election and certify the result. [1993 c.577 §6; 1997 c.590 §10]
