Statute Text
Safety
standards for accessory structures; rules.
The Director of the Department of Consumer and
Business Services shall adopt and enforce rules establishing safety standards
for construction and installation of accessory buildings and structures.
Prefabricated and site-built accessory buildings and structures shall be
consistent with the provisions of the state building code adopted pursuant to
ORS 455.020 and 455.110 except where application of such standards would
conflict with standards adopted under the National Manufactured Housing
Construction and Safety Standards Act of 1974 and would prevent the Department
of Consumer and Business Services from enforcing the federal Act in Oregon. [1975
