Statute Text
Election of officers of board of directors; duties; quorum.
(1) The directors of a health
district shall, at the time of their organization, choose from their number a
chairperson, a secretary and a treasurer, who shall hold their offices until
their successors are elected and qualified.
(2) These
officers shall have, respectively, the powers and shall perform the duties
usual in such cases.
(3) A majority
shall constitute a quorum to do business and, in the absence of the
chairperson, any other member may preside at any meeting. [Formerly 441.290;
