Statute Text
Prepayment of expenses in certain cases required.
A police officer or an employee of
the Department of State Police who is called as an expert witness in a civil
case may demand the payment specified in ORS 44.554 (2) for one day, in
advance, and when so demanded may not be compelled to attend until the payment
is tendered. [1991 c.550 §4; 2011 c.547 §24]
