Statute Text
Detaining conveyance for inspection or investigation. If the Public Health Director finds that there is an imminent risk of the introduction into the state by means of any public or private conveyance of any dangerous communicable disease or toxic substance which presents a substantial threat to public health, the director may detain such conveyance for inspection or investigation. [1973 c.259 §16 (enacted in lieu of 433.215); 1987 c.600 §13; 2007 c.445 §19]
