Procedures at evaluation sites; administration of antagonist drugs.
(1) Evaluation sites provided for
under ORS 430.450 to 430.555 shall conduct such procedures as may be necessary
to determine if an individual is a drug-dependent person. A person shall be
evaluated only with that persons written consent. Subject to approval of the
Oregon Health Authority, the director of a treatment facility or the director
of an evaluation site may designate personnel to provide treatment or
evaluation as appropriate under the lawful limitations of their certification,
licensure or professional practice.
(2) Antagonist
drugs may be administered for diagnosis of addiction by a registered nurse at
an approved site when the nurse has completed required training and a physician
or naturopathic physician is available on call. Antagonist drugs shall not be
administered without informed written consent of the person. [1977 c.871 §22;
