Statute Text
Financial grants to counties for community corrections programs. The Department of Corrections shall make grants to assist counties in the implementation and operation of community corrections programs including, but not limited to, preventive or diversionary correctional programs, probation, parole, work release and local correctional facilities and programs for offenders. The department shall require recipients of the grants to cooperate, to the extent of available information systems resources, in the collection and sharing of data necessary to evaluate the effect of community corrections programs on future criminal conduct.
