Statute Text
Notice to Governor regarding proposed site. Within 30 days of the date of the executive order described in ORS 421.637, the Director of the Department of Corrections shall notify the Governor of the site proposed for the construction and operation of a women’s correctional facility and intake center complex. The director shall make available for the Governor’s review the final report required under ORS 421.641 and any other documents or materials that the Governor may request. The Governor shall approve or disapprove the site as the Governor deems necessary or advisable. [1999 c.982 §5]
