Definitions for ORS 421.455 to 421.480.
As used in ORS 421.455 to 421.480, unless the context
requires otherwise:
(1) Local adult
in custody means a person sentenced by a court or legal authority to serve
sentence in a county or city jail, but does not include a child detained by
order of the juvenile court.
(2) State adult
in custody means an adult in custody of a Department of Corrections
