Hearings in another state. (1) The State Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision may hold hearings in another state in connection with the case of an inmate confined in an institution of another state that is a party to the compact, or may request a hearing to be held by officers of the other state under Article IV (f) of the compact. (2) The cost of any hearing conducted under subsection (1) of this section shall be paid by the Department of Corrections out of money appropriated to the department for the purpose of paying lawful expenses of the department.
