Manufacture and sale of handiwork; disposition of sale price.
(1) The Department of Corrections
may establish a program to allow the manufacture of small articles of handiwork
by the adults in custody in Department of Corrections institutions, out of raw
materials purchased by the adults in custody with their own funds, which
articles may be sold to the public. State-owned property may not be sold or
given to adults in custody under this section.
(2) The
department may provide that all or a part of the sales price of the articles be
deposited to the account of the adults in custody manufacturing the article. [1953
