Statute Text
Toll-free child abuse hotline. The Office of Children’s Advocate shall maintain a state toll-free telephone line to allow the public to: (1) Access information and be referred to the appropriate services in matters of child abuse. (2) Voice concerns regarding the actions and conduct of the Department of Human Services relating to child abuse. (3) Have a single place to file complaints concerning the actions and conduct of the Department of Human Services relating to child abuse. [1993 c.678 §7; 2003 c.591 §3]
