Contracts with public and private agencies to carry out programs.
(1) In carrying out the duties
described in ORS 411.905, the Director of Human Services may enter into
contracts with and make grants to public and private agencies for the purpose
of establishing and operating multipurpose service programs.
(2) In entering
into contracts and making grants for the purpose of establishing and operating
multipurpose service programs the director shall establish priorities among
qualified public and private agencies on the basis of financial need,
geographic distribution, community support and volunteer participation. [1977
