Exemptions and waivers from federal law to be obtained. The Governor and the Department of Human Services shall work diligently to obtain all exemptions and waivers from and amendments to federal statutes, rules and regulations necessary to implement the JOBS Plus Program at the earliest possible date, including but not limited to exemptions under section 1115 (42 U.S.C. 1315) of the Social Security Act and section 17 (7 U.S.C. 2026) of the Food and Nutrition Act.
