Statute Text
Court
may compel appearance of witness before petitioner.
(1) If at the hearing provided for
in ORS 411.596 it is apparent to the court that the subpoena was regularly
issued, the court shall thereupon enter an order that the witness appear before
the petitioner at a time and place to be fixed in such order, and testify and
produce the required papers.
(2) Failure by
the witness to comply with an order made pursuant to subsection (1) of this
section shall be dealt with as for contempt of court. [Formerly 411.390]
