Statute Text
Legislative goal. It is the goal of the Legislative Assembly to provide programs to make child care services more affordable, to improve the quality of services offered and to increase the number of child care providers. Programs should be tailored to the needs of local communities and should include a combination of actions that will address both targeted populations, such as teen parents or children with disabilities, and low-income working or student parents.
