Statute Text
Delegation of authority of director.
(1) The Director of Human Services may delegate to any of the officers and
employees of the department the exercise or discharge in the directors name of
any power, duty or function of whatever character vested in or imposed upon the
director by law. However, all such delegations of a continuing nature involving
provision for services performed by the department may be exercised by an
officer or employee of the department only when specifically designated in
writing by the director to do so.
(2) The official
act of any person acting in the directors name and by the directors authority
pursuant to subsection (1) of this section shall be considered an official act
