Statute Text
Filing application with educational institution. Any beneficiary who desires to pursue a course of study or professional training may file, upon a form approved by the Director of Veterans’ Affairs, an application with the executive head of the institution in which the beneficiary desires to pursue such course. In the application the beneficiary shall set forth the date of enlistment or induction into the service of the United States, the date of discharge, a certified copy of the discharge or document evidencing release from active duty, the courses of study the beneficiary desires to pursue, and the length of time the beneficiary intends to pursue such courses.
