Statute Text
Additional duties of advisory committee.
In addition to any other powers and duties granted to
the Advisory Committee by law, the Advisory Committee shall:
(1) Work with the
Director of Veterans Affairs to insure that the needs of the veterans and
their dependents and survivors who reside in this state are recognized and
addressed in a timely and effective manner.
(2) Review
current issues affecting veterans and their dependents and survivors who reside
in this state and make recommendations relating to those issues.
(3) Review
current operations of the Department of Veterans Affairs and make
recommendations to the director concerning the operation of any part of the
department.
(4) Make
recommendations to the director for the establishment or revision of programs
and entitlements for veterans. [1991 c.798 §2]
