Disaster recovery plan.
A 9-1-1 jurisdiction must have a disaster recovery plan for the components of
the emergency communications system within the 9-1-1 service area. The disaster
recovery plan must include at a minimum:

emergency call to the primary public safety answering point and corresponding
secondary public safety answering points. This may include, but is not limited
to, a hard-wired alternative route or a plan on file with the provider
designating alternative routes or answering points.
(2) A plan to
switch public safety answering point operations to an alternate site in the
event the primary public safety answering point becomes inoperable.
(3) 24-hour
emergency numbers for the providers serving the 9-1-1 jurisdiction. [Formerly 401.775;
