Statute Text
Liability for expenses incurred using local personnel.
If county, city or district
personnel are assigned and used under ORS 401.930 to respond to a structural
collapse or threat of imminent structural collapse in another county, city or
district and the response prevents the personnel from performing their duties
in the county, city or district in which the personnel are normally employed,
the state shall reimburse the county, city or district supplying the personnel
for the compensation paid to the personnel during the response. The state shall
also defray the actual travel and maintenance expenses for responding personnel
incurred as a result of the response. [Formerly 401.643]
