Statute Text
Adjutant General as director of department. (1) The military department shall be under the supervision and control of the Adjutant General, who shall also serve as director of the department, and who shall be appointed by the Governor as provided in ORS 396.150. (2) The Adjutant General shall be responsible for the performance of the duties imposed upon the department, and for such other duties as may be prescribed by this chapter and ORS chapters 398 and 399, or by the Governor.
