Relationship to other laws. The State Parks and Recreation Department and state and local managing agencies shall manage the Deschutes River Scenic Waterway Recreation Area according to the provisions of ORS 390.805 to 390.925 and 390.930 to 390.940 and rules adopted under ORS 390.805 to 390.925 and 390.930 to 390.940. Federal and tribal managing agencies with jurisdiction over their respective lands and waters shall be encouraged to manage their lands and waters in a manner consistent with the provisions of ORS 390.805 to 390.925 and 390.930 to 390.940.
