Statute Text
Employment and compensation of attorneys.
Whenever any county undertakes the construction or
acquisition of an interstate bridge or ferry pursuant to ORS 381.205 to
381.314, the county court or board of county commissioners may employ and pay
reasonable compensation to attorneys, including the district attorney of the
county, for services heretofore or hereafter performed in connection with the
construction or acquisition of such bridge or ferry. Such compensation, which
in the case of the district attorney shall be in addition to any other compensation
allowed by law, shall be payable solely out of the funds received from the sale
of bonds for the construction or acquisition of the bridge or ferry or the
revenues derived from the operation thereof. [1953 c.44 §1]
