Statute Text
Initiation of proceedings to acquire property for road purposes. A county governing body may initiate proceedings to acquire title or a lesser interest in real property for public road purposes: (1) On its own action; or (2) If a person files the following with the county governing body: (a) A petition described in ORS 368.081; or (b) A written proposal to dedicate or donate land owned by that person for public road purposes.
