Definitions for ORS 366.332 and 366.333.
As used in this section and ORS 366.333:
(1) Real
property includes any right, title or interest in real property.
(2) Utility
means any corporation, including municipal or quasi-municipal corporation,
company, individual, association of individuals, lessee, trustee or receiver,
that owns, operates, manages or controls all or part of any plant or equipment
in this state, whether or not such plant or equipment or part thereof is wholly
within or outside any city, which plant or equipment is used, directly or
indirectly:
(a) For the
conveyance of telegraph or telephone messages, with or without wires;
(b) For the
transportation of water, gas or petroleum products by pipelines;
(c) For the
production, transmission, delivery or furnishing of heat, light, water, power,
electricity or electrical impulses; or
(d) For the
transmission and delivery of television pictures and sound by cables. [1965
