Statute Text
Museum
commission.
(1)
The governing body of a city may appoint a museum commission, which shall
consist of seven members chosen with reference to their fitness for the
position.
(2) The members
of a city museum commission shall be residents of the city in which the museum
is or is to be located. When two or more cities jointly establish, maintain and
operate a public museum, four of the members of a joint city museum commission shall
be residents of the city in which the museum is or is to be located and three
of the members shall be residents of the other city or cities. [1953 c.481 §6;
